Yura is a quiet man living in a peaceful little cabin in the mountains. When talking to people he often comes off as rude and grouchy, but that's just because he hates small talk with strangers. Despite his grumpy appearance he's actually pretty peaceful and harmless, but won't hesitate to stand up for himself if someone annoys him. Yura is a man of few words and isn't often seen smiling. All in all he's usually in a good mood and enjoys his peaceful life close to nature.

Yura graduated from art school and worked as an art forger for years, selling his fake masterpieces to shady art dealers. A couple years ago he hurt his wrist and had to quit painting, but at that point he had gathered enough money to be able to retire comfortably. Yura misses painting a lot and often visits museums and art galleries.

Nowadays Yura enjoys nature photography. He does it mainly as a hobby and isn't looking for a career from it, but he takes it pretty seriously. He's very interested in nature in general and enjoys travelling.

Yura has never been much of a people person and he values his peace and quiet. He doesn't get much visitors since he doesn't really have friends, so going grocery shopping once a week to the village is usually his only chance to be around other people. Yura likes to sit in a cafe or at a bar for a while every week, just listening to the chatter and conversations around him before retiring back to his solitude. When he actually has to talk to people he often comes off as grouchy and rude. He tries his best to be friendly and accommodating, but he's not very patient and hates small talk. He's a man of few words.

Despite being used to the cold climate, Yura gets cold easily and never leaves the house without warm clothes. He has a nice collection of thick jumpers and woolen socks.

INTERESTS

Painting and drawing have been Yura's dear hobbies for his whole life, but he can't do either one anymore due to injuring his wrist a couple of years ago. He still loves to look at art and often visits museums and art galleries. The calming atmosphere of museums and the presence of numerous paintings always make his day better. He might even get chatty and start conversations with random strangers. Yura knows a lot about art - expecially art history - so he has a lot to say when surrounded by old paintings.

One of Yura's new hobbies is photography After a while of living alone in his cabin he started trying out new hobbies and became quickly interested in nature photography. He takes pictures of both natural landscapes and animals, and even though he isn't interested in becoming a professional, he takes his hobby quite seriously.

Yura also enjoys being around nature a lot - one of his morning routines is taking a nice, refreshing walk in the forest.

HISTORY

Yura was born in Russia where he spent his childhood and adolescence. He was a very creative kit, always drawing and sketching with whatever art tools he could find. In his teens Yura enrolled in an art school, and he really enjoed his school years greatly. Despite graduating with high marks, Yura was not interested in pursuing a career as an artist - instead he became an art forger and started copying masterpieces for shady art dealers.

Yura enjoyed his job a lot until he hurt his wrist and had to quit painting completely. He never got caught but he did manage to gather quite a bit of enemies during his years working with criminals, so after getting out of the business he moved away from his home country. Fortunately he had gathered quite a bit of money at this point, so he used his savings to purchase a small cabin in the mountains near a small city.
